The role also involves supporting equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and on-site technical service when required.\nWe are looking for someone with a practical mindset, good troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to learn and support different engineering and technical activities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Equipment Servicing & MaintenancePerform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and servicing of mechatronic equipment and machinery.\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.\nAssist in repairing, replacing, and adjusting mechanical and electrical components.\nCheck the operation of motors, sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, and other equipment components.\nEnsure equipment is operating safely and reliably.\nMaintain service records, maintenance reports, and equipment checklists.\n2. Technical Support & TroubleshootingProvide technical support for equipment breakdowns and operational issues.\nAssist in identifying faults and implementing corrective actions.\nSupport on-site servicing and maintenance at customer premises when required.\nLiaise with engineers, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical issues.\nEscalate complex technical problems to the relevant engineer or supervisor.\n3. Project Installation & CommissioningAssist with installation, assembly, setup, and testing of machinery and mechatronic systems.\nSupport equipment relocation, modification, upgrading, and integration projects.\nPerform basic wiring, cable connection, component installation, and mechanical assembly within the candidate's competency and authorisation.\nAssist with functional testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting during project handover.\nCoordinate with engineers, contractors, and other technicians to ensure project work is completed on schedule.\n4. Electrical & Automation SupportRead and understand basic electrical wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.\nAssist with checking electrical connections, sensors, motors, relays, contactors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).\nSupport basic PLC and HMI troubleshooting where applicable.\nAssist with checking and testing control panels and automation systems under appropriate supervision.\nFollow approved work procedures and electrical safety requirements.\n5.
