Always exceed our customers’ expectations.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nSales & Client Support\nAs the Subject matter expert (SME) have advanced knowledge to support end to end client needs\nOversee client inquiries via phone, email or other means. Tracking acknowledgement and response quality to key clients\nException handling and internal escalations as needed\nRespond to or delegating non-sales client inquiries (outside of general tracking, quotes). \nIdentify resource efficiencies (i.e., client email groups/distribution groups and compiling relevant marketing assets for BD efforts) \nTrack key account news (i.e., alerts) to identify engagement and/or growth opportunities\nWork across departments to generate metrics and reports for key accounts as needed\nIdentify potential opportunities and work with the sales team\nProvide support to sales team and/or Account Management team as needed. \nPricing & Operations Support\nCollaborate and handle, with the Operation team, to deliver transportation and/or warehouse solutions to our clients\nAssist in preparing RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and client presentations\nPrepare and follow up on quotes for key clients to secure the opportunity\nConduct project-based tasks such as research and data assembly through interdepartmental collaboration\nSupport the development of SOPs for key clients\nRecommend and implement process improvements to drive profitability and efficiency\nAssist in shipment origination or warehouse fulfillment, as needed \nContinually look to implement better processes, procedures and/or automation\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements\nQualifications & Skill Requirements\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent required\n4+ years' experience in logistics and/or freight forwarding operations and account management, Or equivalent education and experience\n2+ years of freight quoting, pricing\nCustomer service experience\nIntermediate skills with Microsoft Office products\nKey Competencies\nAbility to plan and effectively set priorities for implementation \nProven analytic and problem-solving skills in a time-sensitive, logistics environment\nExcels at meeting deadlines and demonstrates superior time management skills\nNatural ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work setting with a strong attention to detail \nSuperior communication skills and an ability to motivate people with an emphasis on listening skills\nAbility to relate to and successfully interact across a variety of settings and work well with a broad and diverse workforce throughout the organization\nDemonstrates ability to work in a client-centric setting \nAbility to be flexible as priorities shift \nConsistent in follow-up and follow-through\nHighly motivated team player with an outgoing and positive work attitude\nCredible with a high level of personal integrity\nAdaptive to ICAT’s core values \nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nMost work is performed indoors in an office setting \nFlexible approach to work, due to clients’ needs and project support requirements\nRegularly use hands to type, handle, or feel\nRequired to use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and can focus\nMust have clear, easy to understand oral communication ability\nAbility to sit for prolonged periods.
