CMU consists of Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), Referential Data (CRD and ISD), and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM). The Referential Data function manages all aspects of legal entity and instrument data across its lifecycle and is responsible for the Bank’s data quality. The unit has a mandate for ensuring that all reference and operational data is made available to support business needs in the fastest and most efficient way possible, whilst applying best in class control mechanisms.\nThis role is locally based within the Counterparty Reference Data (CRD) team in London.\nThe role involves ensuring the accurate and timely set up of legal entity operational and/or instrument/product static reference data. The function spans across all lines of business and all client sectors, supporting the referential data requirements of Global Markets and Commodities for all cash and derivatives’ products marketed by ICBCS.\nThe candidate must have high levels of attention to detail, be results-focused and be capable of delivering in a fast paced and high-pressured environment.\nThe role will require a self-motivated individual who will bring energy and enthusiasm to the function and be capable of quickly developing a strong partnership with front office and the other Operations and IT functions\nWhat you’ll be doing\nKeep a detailed level of understanding of the functional data architecture of client data across systems: Fen-X, EDM and downstream operational systems\nProcess business requests for creation and changes to client data in accordance with the team’s procedures and internal SLAs\nProcess requests for creation/changes of/to new internal or external accounts\nProcess requests for creation/changes of/to Standard Settlement Instructions\nAct as coordinator for exception management, working with colleagues in IT and/or Operations to resolution\nAttest to key controls related to client data having been run to maintain a high level of operational risk assurance\nEnsure that reconciliations allocated by the team manager have been checked and any exceptions processed\nProvide ad-hoc support to other streams of work within the CRD team\n\nWhat you’ll need to be successful\nWe’re looking for the following skills and experience.
