The team supports business users across trading, risk, operations, finance, and other functions.\nWe are looking for an AI Engineer to join the team. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background who wants to develop skills in trading technology, application support, data engineering, and AI technologies.\nThe successful candidate will help support business-critical trading applications, investigate incidents, perform operational monitoring, assist with data processing activities, and contribute to the development of AI and data solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nTrading Application Support\nProvide first and second-line support for front-office trading, risk, and market data applications.\nMonitor production systems and proactively identify issues affecting traders and business users.\nInvestigate application incidents, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate resolutions with technology teams and vendors.\nSupport daily operational activities including trade processing, market data validation, batch monitoring, and reconciliation processes.\nParticipate in production support rotations and assist with incident management activities.\nMaintain support documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.\nBuild strong relationships with business users and provide timely communication during incidents and service disruptions.\nData Engineering & Analytics Support\nAssist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and automated data processing solutions.\nPerform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.\nSupport the creation of reports, dashboards, and datasets used by business and technology teams.\nHelp maintain data catalogues, metadata, and documentation.\nInvestigate data issues and support remediation activities.\nAI & Innovation Support\nAssist senior engineers with the implementation of AI-enabled solutions and automation initiatives.\nSupport testing and deployment activities for AI and data products.\nLearn and apply AI technologies including Microsoft Copilot, GitHub CoPilot, and automation tools where appropriate.\nHelp gather requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement using data and AI technologies.\nOperations & Controls\nSupport monitoring, alerting, and operational health checks across production environments.\nAssist with disaster recovery testing, business continuity activities, and operational readiness reviews.\nFollow security, risk, and governance controls when handling data and supporting applications.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system stability and operational efficiency.\nCollaboration\nWork closely with traders, operations teams, risk users, and technology colleagues.\nParticipate in project delivery, testing, and change management activities.\nLearn industry best practices for trading systems, financial markets, data management, and AI technologies.\nContribute positively to team objectives and knowledge sharing.\nWhat you’ll need to be successful\nWe’re looking for the following skills and experience.
