The role leads the close and financial reporting processes, provides direction to the accounting team, strengthens internal controls, and ensures compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. The Accounting Manager also partners with leadership, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders to support financial decision-making, improve accounting processes, and maintain a scalable and well-controlled accounting environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. General Accounting & Financial Close\nOversee the general ledger and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP. \nLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely completion of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. \nReview account reconciliations and investigate significant or unusual balances and variances. \nAnalyze financial results and identify relevant trends, variances, and accounting issues requiring management attention. \nEnsure the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of accounting records across the reporting period. \n2. Financial Reporting & Accounting Compliance\nPrepare and review financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement. \nEnsure financial reporting complies with U.S. GAAP, applicable ASC guidance, and established company accounting policies. \nOversee the application of technical accounting requirements, including revenue recognition under ASC 606 and lease accounting under ASC 842, as applicable. \nMaintain and update accounting policies and procedures to reflect changes in business requirements and accounting standards. \nSupport the interpretation and implementation of new accounting guidance and technical accounting requirements. \n3. Team Leadership & Accounting Operations\nLead, supervise, and develop accounting personnel across functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting. \nEstablish clear priorities, responsibilities, and performance expectations across the accounting team. \nReview team deliverables to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established processes and controls. \nProvide coaching and technical guidance to strengthen the team’s accounting capabilities. \nAllocate resources effectively to meet close, reporting, and operational requirements. \n4. Internal Controls, Audit & Risk Management\nMaintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard financial information and support the reliability of financial reporting. \nEnsure accounting processes comply with company policies, established controls, and applicable accounting standards. \nCoordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits. \nPrepare and review audit schedules, reconciliations, supporting documentation, and responses to audit requests. \nIdentify control gaps and process risks and implement appropriate corrective actions and improvements. \n5. Financial Planning, Cash Flow & Business Support\nSupport the preparation and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with Finance and business stakeholders. \nMonitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support effective cash management and financial planning. \nPrepare and analyze cash flow projections and provide relevant insights to management. \nOversee or support payroll accounting processes, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and alignment with payroll-related financial requirements. \nProvide accounting insights and financial analysis to support management decision-making. \nPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and financial matters and improve financial processes. \nIdentify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, systems, controls, and overall operational efficiency. \n6.
