Best in Business, Health Services \nPOSITION SUMMARY & PURPOSE\nThe Psychologist works under the Director of the Diagnostic Services Department and is responsible for completing psychological/neuropsychological testing, reviewing and signing reports, and conducting supervision and training of all Psychometrists in the region/state.\nThe principal functions of the position identified shall not be considered as a complete description of all the work requirements and expectations that may be inherent in the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.\nPOSITION ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe following are duties and responsibilities that the Psychologist shall provide:\nTo provide comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological and/or psychoeducational evaluations of clients with referral concerns related to learning, behavioral, emotional, and/or social difficulties. \nTo provide written and oral feedback to clients regarding results of evaluations, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations for appropriate remediation of concerns including referrals. \nConduct in-person and/or virtual comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological and/or psychoeducational evaluations. \nFollowing evaluation, provide feedback sessions with the patient (or their legal guardian in the case of a minor). \nCompile a written report detailing the evaluation findings, diagnosis(es), and recommendations to be kept in the patient’s medical record and to be shared with the patient (or their legal guardian in the case of a minor) and referral source (in accordance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Plans). \nEnsure that written documentation is completed and uploaded in a timely manner per departmental policy. \nProvide direct Supervision (Individual/Group) and Training of Neuropsychological Testing/Assessment to “Diagnostic Specialists” (Psychometrists/Technicians). \nActively seek out supervision when needed. \nRemain current within the field of psychology and seek opportunities for continuing education related to psychological/neuropsychological testing of pediatric patients. \nParticipate in weekly Regional Clinical Training Meetings including presenting at Weekly Psychology Assessment Didactic Seminars (PADS). \nMaintain an active license and good standing with the state board of psychology. \nComply with ABA Center’s of America’s ’s HIPAA privacy and security policies. \nCollaborate with all other team members to facilitate realization of the mission of ABA Centers of America, including attending routine departmental and general staff meetings. \nRequirements\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nThe Psychologist requires a minimum of a:\nDoctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) with specific training in assessment of pediatric and adolescent neurodevelopmental disorders, including specific learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability. \nAbility to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record (required). \nPrior training experience with assessment/administration/scoring/interpreting of Neuropsychological Tests required. \nExperience administering measures/tests of Intellectual Functioning, Development, Autism Spectrum Disorder including the ADOS-2, Social Communication, and Emotional and Behavioral Functioning. \nLanguage Requirements\nEnglish proficiency required\nSpanish proficiency is a plus\nBenefits\nCompensation and Contractor Status\nPay: $150 per hour, based on experience and qualifications\nThis
