Ideal candidates will have three (3) to five (5) years of experience, a strong interest in leading cases, managing teams, and contributing to strategic case development and execution.\nIn this position, you will:\nHandle all aspects of complex litigation, including case assessment, pleadings, discovery strategy, motion practice, depositions, trial and/or oral advocacy.\nManage business disputes in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels, including coordinating experts, overseeing large case dockets, and leading fact investigations (interviews and records review).\nDraft and develop litigation strategies, pleadings, briefs, and motions, and engage in strategic depositions and witness preparation.\nSupervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals, supporting their professional development and training.\nServe as a trusted advisor to clients, including general counsels, executives, boards, and other key stakeholders.\nCollaborate with partners on business development and client relationship management, including participating in pitches, contributing to presentations and proposals, and supporting ongoing client engagement, with a clear path for advancement and active encouragement to grow a practice.\nRequirements:\nJ.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials\nAt least three (3) years of experience practicing law in a law firm \nActive law license in Ohio\nStrong written and oral communication skills\nExcellent analytical skills and business judgement\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team\nMust have permanent authorization to work in the United States\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive compensation in a collegial, mid-size firm environment\nQuality benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement programs\nOne-on-one career coaching and professional development programming\nA supportive culture centered on mentorship, advancement, and innovation\nThe salary range for this position is $187,000 to $225,000 based on experience, plus opportunities for discretionary and hours-based bonus\nIce Miller LLP embraces a work environment that is collaborative, welcoming, and focused on growth.
