Lead Software Engineer, ML Engineering

We are seeking a technically strong Lead Software Engineer to spearhead the development of next-generation AI products within our Applications & GovCon division. The role blends deep .NET and React.js experience with a passion for emerging technologies such as generative AI, Vibe coding, and modern DevOps practices. You will mentor a cross-functional team, drive architectural decisions, and deliver scalable, secure solutions that power our enterprise contract management platform.

• Define and own the technical architecture for AI-enabled .NET and React applications.
• Lead a team of engineers through full software development lifecycle, from design to production.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and UX teams to translate AI concepts into usable features.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and security.
• Mentor junior developers and promote continuous learning of new frameworks and tools.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as generative AI models and Vibe coding.
• Drive performance optimization for both backend services and front-end interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and GovCon regulatory requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, technical workshops, and architecture forums.
• Contribute to the product roadmap by providing technical insights and feasibility assessments.

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Strong expertise in C#/.NET Core and building RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration, preferably generative AI models.
• Familiarity with Vibe coding, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven technical decisions.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of mentoring diverse teams.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
