SUPO where required)\nThe Mission of the DevOps Engineer\nAs a DevOps Engineer your core purpose is to keep mission systems running smoothly by deploying new releases troubleshooting issues and continuously improving processes and documentation. This work directly supports the success of ICEYEs Mission business line customers\nWho We Are\nICEYE delivers space-based intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYEs world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology as well as access to data from the worlds largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy day or night and in any weather supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.\nAs a trusted partner for defense intelligence security and maritime domain awareness ICEYEs near real-time data creates a tactical advantage for mission-critical operations. Designed for dual use the platform also serves civil protection and commercial users for natural-catastrophe intelligence insurance maritime monitoring (including oil-spill detection) and finance contributing to global security and community resilience.\nICEYE operates internationally with offices in Finland Poland Spain Japan the UAE Greece and the US. The company has more than 900 employees inspired by the shared vision of improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.\n\nRequirements\nExpected Outcomes & Requirements\nOutcomes:\nTeam Specific:\nSoftware and Hardware Delivery: Delivering ground segments (the brain of satellite operations processing satellite data into images) to Mission business customers.\nTechnical Support: Providing technical support for both satellite and ground segment systems for Mission customers.\nMaintenance and Upgrades: Performing planned maintenance and software upgrades for customer on-premise systems (actual software development is handled by the Engineering organization).\nRole specific:\nEnsures ground segment systems reliably deliver satellite data and imagery to Mission customers.\nMaintains uninterrupted operations by proactively supporting and upgrading customer on-premise environments.\nRapidly resolves technical issues to minimize downtime and protect mission-critical services.\nBuilds trust with customers through responsive technical support and seamless deployments.\nDrives continuous improvement by collaborating across teams and refining operational processes.\nRole-specific Competences\nTechnical Expertise: A strong dual foundation in both software development and DevOps principles at least 5 years of professional experience with a focus on deployment configuration and operational management of software services particularly within Kubernetes. Experience taking technical responsibility for a high-availability service.\nCommunication: Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English enabling effective collaboration within an international team and with customer technical representatives\nQualifications: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.\nAdaptability: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and apply strong analytical skills.
