We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.\nFounded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.\n Your day-to-day responsibilities\nEnsure smooth, seamless and on time product delivery, from concept to qualification\n\nContribute to the continuous improvements of our current products\n\nSystems & Software Administration: Install, update, license, and maintain mechanical design software, FEA/CFD simulation tools, and PLM databases\n\nEngineering Team Support: Provide day-to-day technical assistance and troubleshooting for design engineers working with CAD and simulation software\n\nModel & Data Management: Maintain standardized CAD library components, template files, and product structure integrity within the PLM system\n\nProcess Optimization: Assist in establishing best practices for CAD modeling standards, design release workflows, and revision control\n\nVendor & IT Liaison: Coordinate with software vendors for licensing/updates and collaborate with internal IT teams on system infrastructure requirements\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nMust haves:\nMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field\n\nExperience in aerospace, automotive, or related industries\n\n5-10 years of practical experience in mechanical design or engineering IT/tool support\n\nCAD/PLM Expertise: Proficiency in handling complex product assemblies with modern 3D CAD platforms and PLM environments\n\nAbility to work cross-functionally with systems, electrical, manufacturing and IT- teams\n\nSimulation Knowledge: Hands-on experience or proven familiarity with engineering simulation tools\n\nProblem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical troubleshooting skills with a customer-service mindset toward supporting engineering end-users\n\nNice to haves:\nExperience on Autocad Inventor, PTC Creo or Siemens NX\n\nExperience on PTC Arena and Altair simulation tools\n\nExperience on CADTALK or similar integration tools\n\nAbility to program simple macros & scripts\n\nAbility to develop simple toolkits through API interface\n\nApplication Process\nTalent Attraction Introduction\n\nHiring Manager Alignment\n\nTask Assignment\n\nTechnical Interview\n\nDirector Interview\n\nWorking at ICEYE\nAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
