SUPO, where required)\n\nWhy this role matters:\nAs a Mission Program Manager, you’ll deliver a complex Satellite Mission program end-to-end, ensuring customer success, on-time execution, and scalable delivery excellence.\nYou will ensure the full lifecycle of customer missions-from contract execution through delivery-acting as the central orchestrator across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.\nFounded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.\nExpected outcomes\nDeliver assigned Satellite Mission programs on time, within budget, and to agreed performance standards\n\nBuild and maintain trusted, long-term customer relationships, acting as the primary interface throughout program execution and supporting Customer Success Management activities\n\nEstablish and drive clear program plans (scope, milestones, resources, financials) aligned with internal and customer objectives\n\nIdentify, manage, and resolve risks, dependencies, and escalations to ensure uninterrupted program delivery\n\nOrchestrate cross-functional execution across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams\n\nSupport the implementation of scalable program management practices that improve delivery reliability and efficiency across Missions\n\nEstablish effective reporting structure and communication channels and mechanisms to ensure timely and accurate information flow among program team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nMust haves:\n5-10 years’ experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs in advanced technology environments (e.g. space, defence, telecom, automotive, IT)\n\nStrong customer-facing capability, including managing senior stakeholders and complex requirements\n\nProven leadership of cross-functional teams to deliver aligned outcomes\n\nExpertise in end-to-end program management (planning, execution, governance across scope, schedule, budget, and risk)\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in uncertain environments\n\nExcellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences\n\nProven Customer Success capabilities\n\nDegree in business, engineering, or a related field\n\nMust have or be able to get Finnish security clearance\n\nNice to haves:\nExperience working on satellite or similarly complex system programs\n\nExperience with governmental or defense customers\n\nKnowledge of hardware, software, or embedded systems development\n\nExperience in product development environments\n\nMaster’s degree in business, engineering, or a relevant field\n\nPMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification\n\nApplication Process\nInitial interview with Talent Attraction\n\nHiring Manager interview with Missions Program Director\n\nCase study interview\n\nFinal interview with SVP Missions\n\nReferences\n\nWorking at ICEYE\nAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
