SUPO, where required)\n\nWhy this role matters\nThe Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist/engineer is responsible for implementation of the ICEYEs Quality Management System in our Valencia production unit to ensure consistent delivery of products and services that meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards. In this role you will partner closely with production, supply chain, Health and safety teams to ensure that our processes are aligned with business goals and embedded into daily practices.\nThis role will report to the Global Quality Management System (QMS) manager and operate as a standalone position within the Spain facility.\nWho We Are\nICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.\nYour day-to-day responsibilities\nEnsure ICEYE Quality Management System is fully implemented in our Valencia facility\n\nDrive ICEYE production framework maturity increase in Valencia - be the subject matter expert for QMS, QA, Support Health and safety and environmental topics.\n\nEnsure compliance with regulatory, customer, and industry requirements, serve as the main point of contact for auditors and certification bodies.\n\nAct as an internal auditor in our internal process audits covering quality and supporting EHS topics.\n\nEnsure controlled documentation rigor in Valencia operations\n\nDefine and track quality KPIs; prepare and present regular performance reports to leadership.\n\nProvide training and coaching on QMS processes, standards, and quality tools; promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nMust haves:\n5+ years in quality, engineering, operations, compliance, or process improvement roles.\n\nStrong experience with digital QMS systems and data-driven improvement methods.\n\nStrong knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001 required; AS9100, AQAP2110, PECAL or similar beneficial)\n\nExperience with quality tools and risk management (RCA, CAPA, FMEA, PDCA, risk assessments).\n\nAudit experience, either as an internal auditor or supporting external certification\n\nAdaptability and a real willingness to learn; comfortable in a fast-paced, agile production environment where processes are still taking shape\n\nExcellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills\n\nAbility to drive cross-functional alignment and work independently with minimal supervision\n\nProfessional fluency in both English and Spanish\n\nNice to haves:\nDegree in Engineering, Quality, Business, or related field.\n\nKnowledge of AS9100, AQAP 2110, PECAL, or ISO 27001\n\nMulti-site or international corporate experience\n\nBackground in defence tech, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or automotive\n\nExperience with quality tools and risk management methods (RCA, CAPA, FMEA, PDCA, risk assessments).
