SUPO)\n\nWhy this role matters:\nAs a Senior Structural Engineer, you’ll lead structural analysis and engineering efforts to ensure ICEYE’s satellites meet demanding aerospace requirements for structural integrity, reliability, and manufacturability, enabling mission success from launch through on-orbit operations.\nWho We Are\nICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.\nYour day-to-day responsibilities\nDefine structural requirements from mission and launcher constraints down to system and subsystem levels\n\nLead and contribute to trade studies, design reviews, and verification and qualification documentation\n\nEnsure smooth and timely product delivery from concept through qualification\n\nDrive continuous improvement of structural design and analysis methods\n\nCollaborate with hardware engineering, AIT, and quality teams to ensure compliance with launch and in-orbit environments\n\nWork with system and subsystem engineers to define requirements for new products\n\nSupport integration, validation, and issue resolution across internal and external teams\n\nWhat are we looking for\nMust haves:\nMaster’s degree in Structural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field\n\nExperience leading and managing structural analysis\n\nExperience designing satellite structures, subsystems, or complex electromechanical systems\n\nDeep understanding of mechanical stress, vibration, and thermal effects on space structures\n\nStrong expertise in finite element analysis, including structural dynamics and failure analysis\n\nExperience with mechanical, hybrid, and bonded joints for load-carrying composite structures\n\nFamiliarity with aerospace standards such as ECSS, NASA, or MIL\n\nAbility to collaborate cross-functionally with systems, electrical, and manufacturing teams\n\nNice to haves:\nExperience with PLM or PDM systems for configuration control\n\nHands-on experience with mechanical assembly, integration, and testing\n\nExperience with launch vehicle or spacecraft environments\n\nApplication process\nRecruiter screening\n\nHiring manager interview\n\nTechnical task\n\nTechnical panel interview\n\nFinal interview\n\nWorking at ICEYE\nAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
