SUPO, where required)\n\nWhy this role matters:\nAs Senior Electronics R&D Test Engineer, you will lead electrical AIT for ICEYE's new generation of optical spacecraft, qualifying subsystems and full satellites and debugging the electronics and software issues that surface along the way. You will build and run the EGSE these campaigns depend on, and feed what you find on the test floor back into the design itself, working closely with the engineering teams responsible for it.\n\nWho We Are\n\n ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.\nFounded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.\n Your day-to-day responsibilities\nRun subsystem qualification and functional testing, and spacecraft-level system testing, for the new generation of optical satellites.\n\nDebug electronics and software issues as they arise, carrying out root cause analysis on failures.\n\nDesign and build the Electronics Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) needed to test and integrate the new spacecraft generation.\n\nSupport next-generation spacecraft integration, creating the AIT procedures used to run it and transferring that knowledge to the production team.\n\nFeed testing and integration findings back to the design engineering teams, from early concept through late prototyping, and drive the design changes that come out of it.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nMust haves:\nHands-on experience in the development, integration, testing, or production of complex electronics systems\n\nStrong debugging skills across both electronics and software.\n\nAIT experience spanning both software and electronics.\n\nWorking knowledge of Python.\n\nA can-do attitude and willingness to learn.\n\nComfortable working under pressure and tight timelines, since test and integration campaigns can involve intense, demanding periods.\n\nStrong communication skills in English (written & spoken).\n\nNice to haves:\nExperience with environmental testing, such as thermal or vibration testing.\n\nExperience in design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-testability (DFT) in high-reliability environments.\n\nExperience scaling test systems for production environments.\n\nExperience in harness design\n\nApplication Process\nTalent Attraction Screening\n\nHiring Manager Screening\n\nOnsite workshop + Technical discussion\n\nInterview with Leadership\n\nWorking at ICEYE\nAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
