SUPO)\n\nWhy this role matters:\nAs a Software Engineer (Developer Enablement), you’ll remove friction between developers and delivery by building the platforms, tooling, and workflows that enable fast, reliable deployment of ICEYE’s mission-critical systems.\nWho We Are\nICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.\nYour day-to-day responsibilities\nBuild, maintain, and improve developer tooling, environments, and workflows to enable efficient software delivery\n\nAutomate service-level deployments using GitOps principles and CI/CD pipelines\n\nDesign, implement, and maintain on-premise software products and supporting infrastructure\n\nSupport and manage production incidents, ensuring reliability and fast resolution\n\nCollaborate with software, platform, and product teams to provide scalable infrastructure abstractions\n\nWork with customer delivery teams to ensure systems are delivered, deployed, and maintainable in production environments\n\nPartner directly with developers to adopt new tooling and ways of working\n\nIdentify high-impact areas in developer experience and drive improvements end-to-end\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nMust haves:\nStrong experience operating and maintaining production-grade Kubernetes clusters\n\nExperience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, including automated deployments\n\nProficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages, with ability to debug and troubleshoot\n\nSolid Linux system administration experience in production environments\n\nExperience with infrastructure as code and automation tooling\n\nUnderstanding of microservices architectures and distributed systems\n\nExperience with monitoring and logging solutions in production systems\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly in English\n\nNice to haves:\nKubernetes certifications or equivalent practical expertise\n\nFamiliarity with tools such as Terraform, Packer, or Ansible\n\nExperience with service mesh technologies such as Istio\n\nExperience with LGTM monitoring stack or similar observability tooling\n\nUnderstanding of software development best practices such as the Twelve-Factor App\n\nBackground in earth observation, satellite systems, or ground segment software\n\nApplication Process\nRecruiter screening\n\nHiring manager interview\n\nTechnical task\n\nTechnical panel interview\n\nFinal interview\n\nWorking at ICEYE\nAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
