You will lead end-to-end data migration activities, working with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Salesforce Architects, and Developers to assess legacy data, develop migration strategies, define source-to-target mappings, and execute accurate and reliable data conversions.\nYou will leverage your expertise in data modeling, ETL, and Salesforce data migration to transform complex legacy data into a structured, reliable format that supports GrantLens business processes. From initial data assessment through production migration and validation, you will ensure data integrity, quality, and successful onboarding of programs onto the platform.\nJob Location: This position is fully remote within the U.S., with occasional travel to the client’s Washington, D.C. office. Must support US Eastern time zone working hours.\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead end-to-end data migration activities, including source data assessment, migration planning, extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.\nAnalyze source and target data models, data structures, relationships, dependencies, and data quality.\nDevelop and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documents, data dictionaries, and transformation rules.\nLeverage ETL tools, SQL, and Salesforce data migration utilities to cleanse, transform, and load data.\nManage Salesforce data dependencies, including object relationships, external IDs, record ownership, and parent-child relationships.\nConduct mock conversions, troubleshoot migration issues, and refine migration processes prior to production deployment.\nExecute production migrations and perform data reconciliation and post-migration validation.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to validate migrated data, resolve discrepancies, and obtain formal sign-off.\nMaintain migration documentation, runbooks, validation reports, and issue logs.\nRequired Skills:\n3+ years of experience in enterprise data migration, data conversion, ETL development, or data integration.\n3+ years of experience with data modeling, relational databases, and complex data relationships.\n3+ years of experience planning and executing end-to-end data migrations into Salesforce.\n2+ years of experience with Salesforce Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector, Workbench, Salesforce APIs, or similar migration utilities.\n2+ years of experience with ETL tools and technologies for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading.\n2+ years of experience in SQL, developing queries and scripts for data profiling, transformation, and validation.\n2+ years of experience developing Source-to-Target Mapping documentation and managing data quality, reconciliation, and migration exceptions.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Service Cloud, or other enterprise Salesforce applications.\nStrong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, including standard/custom objects, lookup and master-detail relationships, and external IDs.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nExperience with ETL platforms such as Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, or SSIS.\nExperience with Salesforce Bulk API and large-volume data migration techniques.\nExperience automating data migration, validation, and reconciliation processes.\nExperience developing migration cutover plans, rollback procedures, and production migration runbooks.\nExperience supporting federal government or other complex enterprise data migration initiatives.\nFamiliarity with FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST security and compliance requirements.\nRelevant Salesforce or data management certifications.\nBot and Third-Party Applications\nPlease note that this application must be submitted directly by the applicant for consideration.
