The consultant will primarily conduct analysis of energy usage, energy efficiency or demand response interventions, cost-effectiveness, utility customer experience or characterization, or other related energy analyses.\nWhy you will love working here:\nQuality of life: Flexible workplace arrangements, work-life balance \nInvestment of the community: Donation matching, volunteer opportunities \nInvestment in you: Tuition reimbursement, access to professional development resources, 401k matching, Employee Stock Purchase Plan \nAnd many, many more (Ask your recruiter for more details!) \nWhat you will be doing:\nPerform wide range of energy related analysis which may include: statistical analyses, analysis of fuel and utility bills, estimate energy efficiency savings and costs, measure engineering analysis, program benefit-cost analysis, program development and planning, evaluation analysis, market research, survey design, and secondary research. \nComplete assigned tasks and analyses to project manager and manager’s satisfaction. \nPrepare written reports and presentation materials and assist in the development of project deliverables. \nJustify and document technical decisions related to research, planning, and data analysis. \nBegin to build and maintain relationships with clients to maximize productivity and cultivate future opportunities. \nWhat we need you to have (minimum qualifications):\nBachelor's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Statistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.\n2+ years of experience supporting energy analytics, energy efficiency, demand response, utility customer programs, program evaluation, market research, or related consulting work within the energy and utilities industry or similar experience.\nExperience analyzing energy usage, utility program performance, energy savings, cost-effectiveness, customer behavior, or other energy-related data.\nExperience with one or more programming languages/tools such as R, Stata, SQL, SAS, or Python.\nExperience estimating energy savings for common energy efficiency measures, including lighting, HVAC, and other building systems.\nMust be able to pass a background check and drug screening. \nWhat we would like you to have:\nLeading skills with one or more programming languages, R, Stata, SQL, SAS, Python \nAdditional certifications may be preferred i.e. CEM, IPMVP, Data Science, etc. \nExperience with energy industry regulatory reporting \nExperience creating client facing deliverables in Power BI \n\nProfessional Skills:\nExcellence in both verbal and written communication \nTeam player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment \nSound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information \nSuperior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism and a cooperative attitude \nStrong organizational skills with proven ability to follow through on multiple tasks and priorities. \nBot and Third-Party Applications\nPlease note that this application must be submitted directly by the applicant for consideration.
