To support our growth, ICF is seeking an Environmental Planner to work remotely, with a preference for staff to be located in Florida or the Eastern United States (east of the Mississippi River). Staff may work remotely and have the option to work from one of our offices such as the Tallahassee, FL office. You will work directly with clients and senior staff, as well as internal and external experts in their field of expertise. You will be responsible for assisting in the planning and completing major project tasks related to the development and delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services. You may provide a range of services including:\nDevelop written materials and analyses for EAs or EISs or categorical exclusions\nSupport meetings with clients or other stakeholders (preparing agendas and meeting summaries) \nSupport federal, state, and local permitting and compliance for traditional and renewable energy, transmission, land use planning, and other projects in compliance with NEPA and other regulations\nReview NEPA documents prepared by the applicant’s contractor \nReview environmental components of applications \nSupport the Project Management team \n\nWhat you need to have (Minimum Qualifications):\nBachelor’s Degree in natural or physical science, urban planning, public policy, economics, environmental management or related subjects\n2+ years of relevant professional experience\n\nWhat we would like you to have (preferred experience):\nExperience leading or supporting project management teams\nExperience with NEPA projects for Transportation and Energy projects\nExperience with NEPA and other environmental compliance related to FEMA or HUD projects such as Tier 1 and Tier 2 environmental reviews.\nAbility to conduct site visits in support of environmental reviews.\n\nProfessional skills you will use:\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) \nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, including ability to prioritize and multi-task under strict deadlines \nStrong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to succeed with new and challenging tasks \nSetting challenging, measurable and sustainable goals in collaboration with manager(s) \nWorking collaboratively with project teams and clients to achieve established goals\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nBot and Third-Party Applications\nPlease note that this application must be submitted directly by the applicant for consideration.
