The Technical Business Analyst will support technology delivery for the energy efficiency and utility sectors, with a focus on understanding business needs, documenting requirements, supporting testing and validation, analyzing data, and assisting with successful implementation. This role will work closely with project teams, program stakeholders, and ICF subject matter experts to help ensure technology solutions meet business and client needs.\nWhy you will love working here:\nQuality of life: Flexible workplace arrangements, work-life balance\nInvestment of the community: Donation matching, volunteer opportunities\nInvestment in you: Tuition reimbursement, access to professional development resources, 401k matching, Employee Stock Purchase Plan\nWhat you will be doing:\nSupport technology delivery activities, including requirements gathering and documentation, testing, validation, and implementation support for energy efficiency tracking and reporting solutions.\nAssist with gathering, documenting, and validating business and system requirements.\nWork with project team members and stakeholders to understand business processes and translate needs into clear requirements and supporting documentation.\nSupport system and user acceptance testing, including development and execution of test cases, documentation of results, and tracking of identified issues.\nAssist with data analysis, reporting, and validation activities.\nParticipate in project meetings and provide clear updates on assigned activities, issues, and dependencies.\nSupport end-users through development of training materials and technical assistance.\nWork under the guidance of senior business analysts and project managers to support successful technology delivery.\nWhat we need you to have (minimum qualifications):\nBachelor’s degree in a related field.\n1+ years of relevant experience in IT business analysis, software delivery, data analysis, or related field.\nExperience or coursework involving requirements gathering and documentation, business process analysis, software testing, or data analysis.\nProficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.\nPreferred Skills/Experience:\nFamiliarity with the software development lifecycle and Agile or other project delivery methodologies.\nExposure to requirements documentation, use cases, process flows, test plans, or test scripts.\nFamiliarity with SQL, HTML, Microsoft Power BI, Cognos, or similar reporting and data tools.\nExperience with issue tracking or project collaboration tools such as Jira.\nInterest in technology solutions supporting energy efficiency, utility, or other complex business programs.\nProfessional Skills:\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively within a collaborative project team.\nBot and Third-Party Applications\nPlease note that this application must be submitted directly by the applicant for consideration.
