The selected candidate will be deployed within the respective State Energy Department and work closely with state agencies, power utilities, and renewable energy development agencies to strengthen project implementation, monitoring, reporting, and capacity-building efforts.\nThe role will support the implementation of flagship renewable energy programs, including PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSGMBY) and PM-KUSUM, while contributing to India's clean energy transition goals.\nLocations: Raipur, Chhattisgarh / Agartala, Tripura, India\n Assignment Duration: 12 Months(Contingent on winning the bid)\nEngagement Type: Consultant / Fixed-Term Project Assignment\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Monitoring & Implementation Support\nSupport the Renewable Energy Expert/Team Leader in monitoring renewable energy programs and projects.\nAssist in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and performance indicators.\nSupport implementation monitoring of PMSGMBY and PM-KUSUM initiatives.\nCollect, analyze, and report project data and progress updates.\nAssist in identifying implementation challenges and recommending corrective actions.\nSupport preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation.\nStakeholder Coordination\nCollaborate closely with the State Energy Department, DISCOMs, Renewable Energy Development Agencies, and other stakeholders.\nFacilitate coordination between government departments and implementing agencies.\nSupport meetings, workshops, consultations, and field monitoring activities.\nCapacity Building & Technical Support\nAssist in delivering training and capacity-building programs for government officials and utility personnel.\nProvide technical support related to renewable energy project implementation and monitoring.\nSupport knowledge-sharing initiatives and dissemination of best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.\nMaster's Degree in Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.\nExperience\nExperience assisting state-owned power utilities or renewable energy development agencies in monitoring or managing at least one renewable energy project.\nMinimum 2 years of experience working with renewable energy companies in India.\nExperience supporting renewable energy project implementation, monitoring, or advisory assignments.\nExperience working with government agencies, utilities, or public-sector stakeholders is desirable.\nSkills & Competencies\nUnderstanding of renewable energy technologies and project implementation.\nStrong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively with government agencies and multiple stakeholders.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).\nStrong report-writing and presentation skills.\nLanguage Requirements\nFluency in spoken and written English.\nPreferred Candidate Profile\nExperience working with State Energy Departments, DISCOMs, or Renewable Energy Development Agencies.\nKnowledge of solar energy programs and renewable energy policies in India.\nStrong organizational and stakeholder management capabilities.\nAbility to work independently in a full-time deployment role within a government environment.\nWhy Join This Assignment?\nContribute to high-impact renewable energy initiatives supporting India's energy transition.\nWork directly with state governments, utilities, and renewable energy agencies.\nGain valuable experience in large-scale renewable energy program monitoring and implementation.\nBuild expertise in government advisory and clean energy project management.\nBot and Third-Party Applications\nPlease note that this application must be submitted directly by the applicant for consideration.
