In this role,you’ll ensure compliance with program standards and provides actionable recommendations to reduce energy consumption and enjoy a field-based, independent, and work schedule that allows you to experience something new every day!\nWhy you will love working here:\nQuality of life: Flexible workplace arrangements, work-life balance\n\nInvestment of the community: Donation matching, volunteer opportunities\n\nInvestment in you: Tuition reimbursement, access to professional development resources, 401k matching, Employee Stock Purchase Plan\n\nAnd many, many more (Ask your recruiter for more details!)\n\nWhat you will be doing:\nPerform on-site energy audits for residential customers, including installation of light energy -saving measures\n\nInspect insulation, HVAC systems, lighting, and appliances for efficiency and safety.\n\nCollect and analyze utility data to determine baseline energy usage.\n\nPrepare detailed audit reports with recommendations for energy-saving measures and estimated cost-benefit analysis.\n\nEducate homeowners and property managers on energy efficiency practices and available incentives.\n\nEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal energy codes and program guidelines.\n\nCoordinate with contractors and QA/QC inspectors to verify installation of recommended measures.\n\nMust have a reliable vehicle for local travel. Requirements are between 50% to 85% of the time. (reimbursement for mileage provided)\n\nWhat we need you to have (minimum qualifications):\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\n4+ years of experience in either residential energy auditing or building performance, commercial energy auditing or construction background with focus on energy efficiency\n\nProficiency with diagnostic tools and software for energy modeling (Blower Door, Combustion Analyzer, Infrared Camera, Flow Meters, etc.).\n\nValid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.\n\nBPI (Building Performance Institute) BA-T and BA-P certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days\n\nWhat we would like you to have:\nBPI (Building Performance Institute) QCI certification.\n\nStrong communication and customer service skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects.\n\nKnowledge of utility energy efficiency programs and weatherization standard\n\nCompensation: Although the posted range below is broader, this position is anticipated to offer a base salary in 55,000-65,000 range.
