You will coordinate across teams, develop clear program materials, and use data to help the program meet its goals.\nWhy you will love working here:\nQuality of life: Flexible workplace arrangements and work-life balance \nInvestment in the community: Donation matching and volunteer opportunities \n Investment in you: Tuition reimbursement, professional development resources, 401(k) matching, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan \nAnd many, many more: Ask your recruiter for details \nWhat you will be doing\nCoordinate day-to-day delivery of a residential energy-efficiency program, including schedules, budgets, deliverables, and performance goals, in partnership with the Senior Program Manager. \nCoordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and community partners to keep program activities on track. \nPrepare program reports, presentations, procedures, and other client-ready materials. \nReview program and project data, identify trends or issues, and support forecasting, invoicing, performance reporting, and regulatory or client reporting requirements. \nCoordinate subcontractor activities, milestones, and schedules; identify delivery risks and help develop solutions. \nSupport customer and subcontractor workflows, documentation, and quality reviews in accordance with program requirements. \nHelp improve tools, workflows, and processes to strengthen the customer experience and program results.\nTravel Requirement: The selected candidate will be expected to be in the San Diego ICF or client offices about 1 time per month for meetings and/or events\nWhat we need you to have (minimum qualifications):\nBachelor’s degree in business, energy, environmental studies, sustainability, public policy, or a related field (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education). \n5+ years of relevant experience in project management in energy-efficiency, electrification, demand-response, consulting for utilities and/or related experience\nWhat will help you succeed in this role (preferred qualifications):\nExperience with residential energy-efficiency, electrification, demand-side management, or other utility programs, including programs funded or regulated by the CPUC. \nFamiliarity with California energy policy, regulatory requirements, and programs administered by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), California Energy Commission (CEC), or California Air Resources Board (CARB). \nKnowledge of building science, home energy upgrades, or contractor-delivered programs. \nExperience supporting contractor or program implementer performance, including deliverables, schedules, budgets, reporting, and issue resolution. \nKnowledge of equity-centered program practices and experience applying them to program delivery or community engagement. \nExperience supporting programs for public agencies, community choice aggregators, local governments, utilities, or regional energy networks. \nRelevant professional certification, such as BPI, PMP, CEM, or LEED AP. \nActive involvement in the energy-efficiency, sustainability, or utility-program industry through professional associations, working groups, or continuing education. \nProfessional skills you will use:\nAbility to communicate complex program information clearly to clients, partners, and cross-functional teams.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate program, financial, and operational data and recommend practical solutions.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across technical, operational, outreach, and client-facing teams in a deadline-driven environment.\nAbility to lead workstreams, coordinate contributors, and support successful team delivery.\nAbility to build and maintain productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, community partners, and colleagues at all levels.\nStrong business ethics and ability to appropriately handle proprietary and confidential information.\nStrong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Power BI, or similar collaboration, reporting, and data visualization tools.\n\nBot and Third-Party Applications\nPlease note that this application must be submitted directly by the applicant for consideration.
