In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain applications leveraging technologies such as Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript, working across Oracle and SQL Server databases in cloud-hosted environments including AWS GovCloud.\nJob Location: This position is remote, If you accept this position, you should note that ICF does monitor employee work locations and blocks access from foreign locations/foreign IP addresses, and also prohibits personal VPN connections.\nYou may be asked to travel once a quarter to an office or client site.\nOur core work hours are 8am - 5pm Eastern Time with the option to start earlier or work later depending on your time zone.\nWhat You Will Do:\nParticipate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of secure, mission-critical applications.\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain applications using technologies such as Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.\n\nDevelop and optimize database solutions leveraging Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.\n\nBuild and support cloud-based solutions within AWS GovCloud environments, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud services and system integrations.\n\nCollaborate within an Agile development environment, working closely with product owners, architects, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams to translate requirements into high-quality software solutions.\n\nConduct code reviews, unit and integration testing, and debugging activities to ensure applications meet quality, security, and compliance standards.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation to accurately reflect system architecture, software design, and implementation details.\n\nEnsure compliance with federal regulations, DoW policies, and security requirements..\n\nPrepare and deliver executive-level briefings, status reports, and performance updates to government stakeholders and corporate leadership.\n\nMaintain a positive, results-oriented work environment by building partnerships with internal and external partners.\n\nWhat You Will Bring With You:\nActive Top Secret Clearance (Interim TS will be considered)\n\n2+ years of experience supporting the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, and deployment of secure, enterprise-level applications.\n\nWhat We Would Like You To Bring With You:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.\n\n2 years’ experience with working on/around cloud platforms in AWS.\n\nHands-on experience developing applications using Java or Kotlin, and TypeScript, with strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and modern development frameworks.\n\nExperience working with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases, including writing and optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity.\n\nExperience supporting applications in AWS GovCloud or other secure cloud environments, with understanding of cloud architecture, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices, including code reviews, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nProfessional Skills:\nHighly effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively at all levels of the business.\n\nAbility to self-organize, priorities and conduct research on multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\n#Indeed\nWorking at ICF\nICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we’re not your typical consultants.
