The Material Program Manager actively participate in understanding customers’ requirements and passionately drive internal procurement processes and the global supply chain to exceed internal and external customer expectations. The role will drive strategic initiatives to improve overall efficiency and profitability of Ichor Systems.\nResponsibilities \nFor assigned products and programs execute supply chain programs that support delivery, reduce supply risk, reduce costs, and optimize cash flow\nAttend production meetings, represent shortages to internal and external stakeholders.\nTroubleshoot, diagnose and resolve root causes and corrective actions for misalignments such as, planning errors, unplanned demand, ECO implementation, item attribute and external supply related constraints. \nMaintain DDMRP (Demand Driven MRP) programs such as Kanban and safety stock replenishment contracts inclusive of analyzing and updating quantities, maintaining proper ERP system set up, keeping applicable contractual liabilities and amendments current, mitigating Ichor’s liability, resolving delivery discrepancies, providing forecasts to suppliers, and ensuring suppliers are performing to contractual service levels\nDefine and communicate clear problem statements related to material shortages, actively engage with suppliers, and take ownership of resolution plans.\nOversee and drive input for demand volatility buffer programs and risk buy strategies to support supply stability.\nClear line of sight between material constraints and build plans\nClear problem statements, engagement with suppliers, and ownership of plans to resolve constrained materials\nResponsible for ensuring proper and complete configuration of ERP for assigned products / parts.\nPurchasing source records and Item Master Records (Make vs Buy) Bill of material relevance in MRP\nExpedite fee coordination\nCustomer facing status or coordination on critical parts and or supply initiatives\nKey support staff for manager regarding department metrics monitoring and improvement plans, business process development / enhancement, and other Supply Chain projects\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements \nBachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred \nMinimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in more than one operational discipline\nExperience working in ERP & PLM systems; Oracle, SAP and Agile preferred\nAbility to learn / understand the supplier’s business and manufacturing processes, technology sourced, and product families\nAbility to concisely communicate escalations, requirements and issues to suppliers, stakeholders, peers, upper management and customers with clarity\nStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills\nStrong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, hands-on and results driven.\nAbility to influence cross functional teams including technical decision makers\nStrong knowledge of all aspects of purchasing, supplier selection, cost analysis and negotiation.\nAdvanced Excel knowledge\nWork independently in fast paced environment\nSkills\nOracle, Kanban, Interpersonal Skills, ERP, Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing, Agile, Customer Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Management, SAP, Supply Chain Solutions, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Project Management, Scheduling, Operations & Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sourcing","description_format":"text","description_chars":3429,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-26T00:07:01Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":72,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.802,"p_room":0.9,"age_days":12,"expected_fill_days":24,"reasons":["seen:12","velocity","win:mid"],"computed_at":"2026-10-04T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":65772,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/ichor-systems-material-program-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/ichor-systems-material-program-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-05T00:46:55Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":942,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4058,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-06T00:00:00Z"}}}
