They also play a role in managing data centre access, inventory, and basic network connectivity.\nResponsibilities:\nMonitor data centre systems, including servers, storage devices, and network equipment, using monitoring tools.\nRespond to alerts and take appropriate action to resolve issues or escalate to higher-level support as needed.\nPerform regular health checks on data centre equipment to ensure optimal performance.\nProvide L1/L2 support for hardware and software issues, including server reboots, network connectivity problems, and hardware failures.\nKnowledge of data centre-related parameters (cooling, power) and ISO standards.\nCoordinate with L2/L3/L4 engineers and vendors for more complex issues and repairs.\nPerform routine maintenance tasks such as server rack installations, hardware upgrades, and cabling.\nManage and document data centre assets, including hardware inventory and configuration details.\nConduct regular backups and data recovery tests as per established procedures.\nRespond promptly to data centre incidents, including power outages, hardware failures, and security breaches.\nFollow and enforce data centre security policies and procedures.\nMaintain accurate records of data centre operations, including maintenance logs, incident reports, and change management documentation.\nPrepare/participate in regular reporting activities on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities for management review.\nWork closely with other IT teams, including network, systems, and storage engineers, to resolve issues and improve operations.\nCommunicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure smooth data centre operations.\nParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as required.\nRequirements:\nKnowledge of infra management tools like Zabbix, Trellis, Sunbird, DCIM, BMS, Access Control System, CCTV, KMS for administration and capacity management.\nBasic Knowledge of Passive Infra (Electrical, HVAC, PAC, UPS, etc. ) and hands-on working knowledge of i-PDUs, STS, ATS, etc.\nAudit and Compliance -
