What will I get to do in this position?\nVerify accuracy of sales & use tax returns prepared by Avalara including accruing tax on necessary purchases made via company card and reconciling all related account balances.\nMaintain all sales tax exemption certificates and ensure they are requested during customer setup.\nPrepare all real estate and personal property tax returns and manage related assessments and invoices.\nAs Treasury backup, forecasting cash, balancing cash daily, and updating excel spreadsheets. Prepare and execute payment runs for checks and EFTS, send wire transfers, and clear vendors.\nAssist with various other tax/treasury/finance tasks as necessary.\nWhat skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nAutomated ERP system knowledge and experience\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word\nExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully resolve issues with employees throughout the organization as well as taxing jurisdictions\nAdaptable and quick learner\nWhat will set me apart?\nAssociate degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field\nAt least one year of experience in sales/use/property tax and/or general accounting\nAvalara knowledge\nSAP knowledge\nICL will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
