What will I get to do in this position?\nWorking closely with operations and maintenance, you will use engineering expertise to optimize plant performance through process improvement, troubleshooting, project support, and technical leadership.\nYou'll analyze production data, implement solutions to manufacturing challenges, support audits and capital projects, and share knowledge through training and collaboration across the organization.\nYou will leverage data and KPIs to identify and execute improvement opportunities, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive operational excellence.\nSuccess in this role includes fostering a culture of continuous improvement, developing team capabilities through coaching and knowledge sharing, and delivering sustainable, measurable results.\nWhat skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?\nB.S. in Chemical Engineering; upcoming December 2026 graduates are welcome to apply. Must be available to start full-time employment no later than January 2027. \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and plant operations.\nExcellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.\nWhat will set me apart?\n2+ years of chemical manufacturing or process engineering experience; recent graduates with relevant internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply. \nExperience leading process improvements, managing projects, and influencing change across teams. \nExperience in chemical, food, or other process manufacturing environments. \nKnowledge of multiple engineering disciplines, including electrical, instrumentation, and process controls. \nExperience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.\nICL will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
