What will I get to do in this position?\nIdentify improvements and optimize processes through changes to equipment, systems, practices and procedures\nIdentify opportunities, develop and coordinate plant projects to improve process capabilities, safety and competitive position\nLead and/or coordinate troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking and plant tests with other technical personnel\nPerform technical and economic evaluations of alternative processes and determine relative costs compared to existing processes\nMonitor environmental regulations and performance against regulations\nParticipate or lead plant safety activities\nWhat skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?\nB.S. degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)\nTwo years of experience in a manufacturing or food or chemical processing environment required. Relevant co-op experience may be considered in lieu of the two-year experience requirement.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex problems using data\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization\nLeadership skills and the ability to lead change\nAbility to set priorities, manage multiple projects and demonstrate strong attention to detail\nStrong computer skills\nFlexibility and availability to work weekends and holidays if needed to support department operation\nWhat will set me apart?\n5 years’ experience in manufacturing or food or chemical processing\nPreferred experience in calcium phosphates, potassium phosphates, and sodium aluminum phosphates.\nICL will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
