This position will work to ensure that equipment is run per standard set by collaboration with our Plant Services-Maintenance group.\nWhere is this position located?\nThis position will work out of our chemical manufacturing plant in Gallipolis Ferry, WV\nWe are currently seeking qualified candidates for this position. What will I get to do in this position?\nAccountable for performance to KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)- percent overtime worked by Process Operators. \nApprove production Process Operator overtime work. \nEnsure the accuracy of the Process Operator hourly payroll reports submitted to Accounting Department’s payroll. \nPlan; delegate; and control work assignments and special projects for Process Operators that are direct reports. \nMaintain appropriate daily staffing level, inclusive of documenting attendance and vacation plan coverage. \nManage workforce performance and document employee attendance and performance issues. \nEnsure work area remains clean and any other housekeeping issue is addressed. \nEstablish specific work goals; quantitative; and qualitative standards that are to be achieved by Process Operators that are direct reports. \nAssess training needs and produce a training plan for each individual. \nManufacture to the plant production plan. \nEnsure accuracy of daily reports. \nEnsure completion of work permits, coordinating with maintenance to achieve maintenance plan. \nIn the capacity as owner of the production equipment, operate it to meet manufacturing goals and support maintenance. \nPerform SIC (short interval control) to support Production Department KPI’s. \nActive coaching of Process Operators towards conducting root cause analysis on equipment prior to notifying maintenance of a problem. \nEnsure required safety self-inspections are completed. \nEnter daily plant production data into SAP computer program. \nCollect and store the production product run sheets per legal requirements for Production area Unit Two. \nPerforms the routine duties of site management leader(s) during evening and week-end work coverage hours. \nPerforms duties of Emergency Management- Incident Command (IC) on evenings and week-end coverage times. \nPerforms duties of Emergency Management- Operations Field Supervisor during the week, regular day work hours and at other times, when so assigned and not acting in another capacity\nwithin the IC management system that would cause a conflict of duties. \nEnsure adherence to plant safety rules, inclusive of PPE use and other company policy. \nLead all first level quality/environmental/safety investigations through to completion. \nCommunicate to all levels of the organization as appropriate, to aid in the achievement of department; site; and business goals. \nAll other duties as assigned.\nWhat skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\n3 - 5 years relevant experience in chemical manufacturing as a Production Supervisor, Production Lead or a Process Operator. \nPrior experience in a supervisory role. \nMust be able to work under in an intense pressure environment. \nComputer skills - Prior experience utilizing Microsoft Office, Outlook, and an ERP system preferably SAP. \nExperience working within an industrial manufacturing environment with experience managing production schedules, maintenance exposure, and operational analysis.\nWhat will set me apart?\nPreferred: Associates or Bachelors degree in Applied Process Technologies or related field. \nPreferred: Phosphorous based experience\nPreferred: Data management experience\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE):\nAt ICL, maintaining a safe and healthy workplace is a top priority.
