Working as a Clinical Study Assistant, exclusively assigned to a Pharmaceutical Company, you will perform tasks related to the planning and execution of clinical studies.\nKey responsibilities include:\nProvide support for critical day-to-day clinical study activities, including regulatory inspection readiness, in accordance with established protocols under the general supervision of the Functional Service Provider (FSP) Manager and in collaboration with FSP CTA Manager(s)\nCollaborate with Clinical Operations/Study Manager, study teams, and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) to support clinical study activities as defined by the clinical trial operating model\nPerform departmental tasks as needed\nAccountabilities:\nReview of study documentation, including essential document packets, study plans, informed consent forms\nSupporting/oversight of risk-based monitoring\nAttendance of key team meetings as required, including Minutes for selected studies\nSupporting regulatory inspection readiness (e.g. SOP Lists, storyboard collation) \nSupport clinical trial systems (e.g. CTMS/TMF) and associated activities for selected studies\nSupporting vendor contract administration as required\nSupport study close-out activities, e.g. financial reconciliation\nSupporting additional ad-hoc activities as needed, as agreed with Manager(s)\nCollaboration with internal departments (Legal, Insurance, R&D functions, etc.), CROs, and external vendors\nYour Profile:\nYou will bring relevant clinical research experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.\nRequired qualifications and experience:\nBachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field or equivalent international degree required\n1-2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry, clinical research organization as CTA or Study Coordinator\nExperience in Phase 2 and 3 studies and global/international studies is advantageous\nMust have experience in Veeva system\nExperience working across multiple therapeutic areas (including oncology) is advantageous\nKnowledge in global/regional regulatory and compliance requirements for clinical research\nDemonstrated excellence in task management and cross-functional collaboration\nExcellent communication skills\nExcellent teamwork, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills\nFluent business English (oral and written)\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail\nWillingness to travel as required (approximately 10%)\nEmployment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.\nRewards & Benefits\nICON offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your health, wellbeing, and career development.\nBenefits may include:\nCompetitive base salary and performance related incentives\nHealth and wellbeing programmes including medical, dental, and vision coverage where applicable\nRetirement and pension plans\nLife assurance and disability coverage\nEmployee assistance programmes and wellbeing resources\nLearning and development opportunities through structured training and career pathways\nBenefits may vary depending on role and location.\nVisit our careers site to read more about the benefits ICON offers.\nInclusion and Accessibility\nICON is an equal opportunity employer.
