As a CNC programmer and operator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting design specifications, programming the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process. To ensure success in this role, you should have extensive experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work unsupervised.This is a full-time, onsite position based on our Austin, Texas HQ Campus.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nReading and interpreting technical blueprints.\nManipulating design models.\nInputting the product designs into the programming software and generating g-code. \nChoosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.\nAdjusting machine settings to the appropriate specifications.\nLoading raw materials into the CNC machine (with and without a forklift). \nTrack material consumption.\nTroubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.\nCompleting quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.\nCleaning and maintaining the machine.\nCommunicating with engineers and designers as needed.\nTraining new staff on machine operation procedures.\nBasic fabrication shop job duties, including cutting material, prepping, cleaning, etc\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n3+ years of experience operating and programming a CNC router\nHigh school diploma or GED\nExperience programming/ running a CNC router to cut Aluminum, Wood, & Plastics\nAbility to read and interpret design blueprints\nExperience with computer modeling software, including: Rhino, Fusion, & Solid Works\nStrong attention to detail\nProficient communication and collaboration across disciplines\nAbility to work independently and consistently meet deadlines\nAbility to lift heavy objects (50-100lbs)\nICON is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an innovative, inclusive, diverse and discrimination-free work environment.
