Partnering closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Technology, and regional teams, delivers scalable solutions, optimises service delivery, and advances automation initiatives to support global HR standards while meeting local business needs.\nKey Responsibilities Summary\nDrive global HR Shared Services process standardisation, documentation, data governance, and automation initiatives.\nLead and deliver HRSS transformation programmes, including process optimisation, service delivery improvements, and Workday HCM business process related enhancements.\nEstablish robust requirements governance, ensuring clear, validated, and traceable business and technical requirements.\nOversee solution design, build, testing, and UAT activities to ensure high-quality delivery and successful outcomes.\nEnhance HRSS service delivery through improved compliance, knowledge management, and self-service capabilities.\nSupport change management, training, communications, and adoption activities to ensure successful implementation of HR initiatives.\nOversee the creation of Workday Help knowledge articles, and drive insights to enhance self-service adoption to reduce case volumes\nMaintain governance, risk, and compliance frameworks to support controlled and compliant HR Shard Service operations.\nBuild strong partnerships across HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Technology, and regional teams to align transformation initiatives with business priorities.\nKey Qualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline or equivalent demonstratable experience.\nSignificant experience in HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or HR Transformation environments.\nProven experience leading transformation initiatives within HRSS - moving activities to central function.\nExperience of delivering process improvement initiatives within HR Shared Services.\nStrong understanding of end-to-end HR lifecycle processes.\nDemonstrated experience working with HR systems - Workday HCM business process knowledge is essential and ideally ServiceNow. \nExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.\nStrong programme and project management experience - Lean, Six Sigma, or project management certification is an advantage.\nStrong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience using Workday Help to analyse case trends, identify root causes, and implement solutions that improve efficiency and reduce case volumes.\nExperience creating and optimising Workday Help knowledge articles, leveraging user feedback and insights to enhance self-service adoption and reduce case volumes.\nStrong communication and change management skills.\nThis role is offered as a 12 month contract. \nEmployment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.\nRewards & Benefits\nICON offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your health, wellbeing, and career development.\nBenefits may include:\nCompetitive base salary and performance related incentives\nHealth and wellbeing programmes including medical, dental, and vision coverage where applicable\nRetirement and pension plans\nLife assurance and disability coverage\nEmployee assistance programmes and wellbeing resources\nLearning and development opportunities through structured training and career pathways\nBenefits may vary depending on role and location.\nVisit our careers site to read more about the benefits ICON offers.\nInclusion and Accessibility\nICON is an equal opportunity employer.
