Your leadership will be vital in maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing laboratory workflows, and fostering a collaborative environment among team members.\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\nResponsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities of the bioanalytical laboratory including direct responsibility for validating and performing assays on biological samples from pre-clinical and clinical trials as needed.\nReview and sign off on data and QC review of ligand binding assays including ELISA, ECLIA (MSD), ELLA, PK, ADA, NAb (neutralizing antibody), and other plate-based assays\nSupervising and managing the bioanalytical services team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).\nOverseeing the planning and execution of bioanalytical studies, including validation and sample analysis for pharmacokinetics and biomarkers.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams, including project management and quality assurance, to ensure timely delivery of accurate analytical results.\nImplementing and monitoring quality control measures to maintain laboratory standards and continuous improvement initiatives.\nProviding training and mentorship to laboratory staff, promoting professional development and a culture of scientific excellence.\nSets goals, assigns and coordinates tasks, ranks priorities, monitors performance, and evaluates performance.\nParticipate in conference calls with Sponsors on scientific matters.\nYour Profile:\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.\n7+ years of experience with ligand binding and cell-based assays including but not limited to ELISA, ELLA, other plate-based assays\nSignificant experience in bioanalytical laboratory operations, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.\nStrong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving collaboration in a fast-paced laboratory environment.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and data integrity.\nEffective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\nEmployment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.\nRewards & Benefits\nICON offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your health, wellbeing, and career development.\nBenefits may include:\nCompetitive base salary and performance related incentives\nHealth and wellbeing programmes including medical, dental, and vision coverage where applicable\nRetirement and pension plans\nLife assurance and disability coverage\nEmployee assistance programmes and wellbeing resources\nLearning and development opportunities through structured training and career pathways\nBenefits may vary depending on role and location.\nVisit our careers site to read more about the benefits ICON offers.\nInclusion and Accessibility\nICON is an equal opportunity employer.
