The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, experience navigating complex trade requirements, and the ability to collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams. This role will also provide guidance on complex compliance matters, mentor junior colleagues, and help identify opportunities to strengthen trade compliance processes.\nThis is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite in West Point, PA (19486).\nWhat You'll Do\nPartner with government agencies, external stakeholders, internal business partners, and subject matter experts to support compliant global trade activities.\nMentor junior analysts and provide strategic guidance on trade compliance matters.\nExecute the trade Second Person Review (2PR) program and serve as an escalation point for 2PR issues and inquiries.\nCollaborate with the Trade Audit team and support internal import and export audits as needed.\nPerform and support post-entry auditing activities.\nSupport the U.S. Import Entry work center, including preparation and filing of U.S. import entries as required.\nSupport the administration and management of shared email inboxes owned by U.S. Trade Operations.\nEngage with Clinical and Research stakeholders through outreach and collaborative activities.\nIdentify opportunities to improve trade compliance processes across Global Clinical Supply and the broader Clinical and Research organization.\nContribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of trade compliance standard business procedures, tools, systems, and training.\nHelp integrate appropriate trade compliance processes into clinical supply and research operations.\nPartner with subject matter experts across functions on trade compliance initiatives.\nSupport U.S. and global compliance strategies and objectives, ensuring trade compliance activities align with broader business objectives.\nWork within global trade management systems, including SAP GTS and similar platforms, to ensure trade attributes are accurately maintained and communicated to customs brokers and government agencies.\nApply knowledge of federal regulations and material conditions to support compliant trade activities.\nManage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy, quality, and compliance.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree preferred; candidates with relevant experience may be considered.\n5+ years of experience in a related field; candidates without a degree should have 8+\nTrade-related certificate or Customs Broker License preferred.\nExperience with post-entry auditing.\nIn-depth knowledge of US Customs regulations and related experience.\nFamiliarity with other partner government agency trade regulations.\nProficiency in using Microsoft products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).\nPrior experience with global trade management systems like SAP GTS or other similar databases is highly desirable.\nProficient in English.\nSolid project management skills.\nDemonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking skills.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and with internal and external stakeholders.\nFinancial analysis and budgeting skills.\nUnderstanding of applicable federal regulations and material conditions.\nAbility to sustain an elevated level of performance while quickly processing high volumes of work.\nEmployment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.\nRewards & Benefits\nICON offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your health, wellbeing, and career development.\nBenefits may include:\nCompetitive base salary and performance related incentives\nHealth and wellbeing programmes including medical, dental, and vision coverage where applicable\nRetirement and pension plans\nLife assurance and disability coverage\nEmployee assistance programmes and wellbeing resources\nLearning and development opportunities through structured training and career pathways\nBenefits may vary depending on role and location.\nVisit our careers site to read more about the benefits ICON offers.\nInclusion and Accessibility\nICON is an equal opportunity employer.
