This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced attorney to serve as a trusted legal and business advisor to senior leadership while independently managing a broad portfolio of legal matters.\nThe AGC will partner closely with teams across the business, including Sales, Product, Engineering, Security, Finance, Operations, and executive leadership, to help the company navigate complex commercial, technology, data, privacy, cybersecurity, and corporate matters.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong legal judgment, excellent communication skills, and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to risk. You are comfortable operating with autonomy, moving quickly in a high-growth environment, and translating complex legal issues into clear recommendations that enable the business to make informed decisions.\nWhat You Will Do\nCommercial & Business Legal\nServe as a trusted legal advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional business teams.\n\nDraft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, including master services agreements, subscription agreements, vendor agreements, partnership and reseller agreements, data processing agreements, licensing agreements, and related amendments.\n\nPartner with Sales and business development teams to facilitate complex enterprise transactions while appropriately managing legal and commercial risk.\n\nDevelop and maintain contract playbooks, templates, fallback positions, and processes that improve contracting efficiency and consistency.\n\nProvide practical, business-oriented guidance on contractual risk, liability, indemnification, intellectual property, confidentiality, data use, security, and other commercial issues.\n\nTechnology, Data & Cybersecurity\nAdvises on legal issues related to technology, data, cybersecurity, privacy, and emerging technologies.\n\nPartner with internal stakeholders to identify and appropriately manage legal and regulatory risks associated with the company’s products and services.\n\nSupport the development and implementation of scalable policies, processes, and legal frameworks related to data and technology.\n\nStay current on emerging legal and regulatory developments affecting cybersecurity, technology, data, AI, privacy, and cyber risk intelligence.\n\nCorporate & Strategic Matters\nSupport the CLO and executive leadership on corporate, strategic, and other complex legal matters.\n\nAssist with corporate governance, strategic transactions, investments, M&A, financing activities, and other corporate initiatives as needed.\n\nSupport board, investor, and executive-level matters as appropriate.\n\nCoordinate with and manage outside counsel on specialized legal matters.\n\nHelp evaluate when matters should be handled internally versus escalated to outside counsel.\n\nLegal Operations & Risk Management\nHelp build and scale legal processes appropriate for a rapidly growing organization.\n\nMaintain contract lifecycle management system.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve legal workflows, contracting processes, and cross-functional collaboration.\n\nDevelop practical frameworks for identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating legal and business risk.\n\nMaintain a high level of organization and accountability across assigned legal matters.\n\nWhat You Will Need\nJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school\n\nActive license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction\n\n7-10+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably combination of law firm and meaningful in-house experience\n\nStrong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated commercial and technology agreements\n\nDemonstrated ability to independently manage complex legal matters from issue identification through resolution\n\nStrong understanding of commercial, technology, data, privacy, cybersecurity, and/or technology-related legal issues\n\nExcellent legal judgment with the ability to distinguish material risk from manageable risk\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal audiences\n\nA practical, solutions-oriented approach to legal risk\n\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple high-impact matters in a fast-paced environment\n\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with outside counsel and manage legal resources\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, risk intelligence, SaaS, data, AI, or other technology company\n\nExperience with privacy, data protection, information security, emerging technology or cybersecurity matters\n\nExperience in a high-growth, venture-backed, or private equity-backed company\n\nExperience with
