That means architecting scalable, secure cloud environments, primarily on AWS; maintaining network designs that balance performance and security; leading the evolution of our CI/CD pipelines; and building the automation and observability that keep production healthy. You’ll also set the standard for security in the infrastructure you build, and partner closely with developers, QA, and IT operations to make shipping safe, routine, and fast.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\nDesign and build scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS, with working knowledge of Azure and GCP\n\nDesign and maintain network architecture (VPCs, Transit Gateways, VPNs, IPsec tunnels, DNS) for performance and security\n\nOwn and evolve CI/CD pipelines so software releases are automated, repeatable, and low-risk\n\nBuild automation for deployment, monitoring, and operations to reduce manual work and human error\n\nMonitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and tune resource allocation for high availability\n\nBuild security into infrastructure: least privilege, secrets management, hardening, and vulnerability remediation\n\nCreate and maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and process documentation\n\nWork with developers, QA, and IT operations to remove friction and improve delivery and reliability\n\nWHAT YOU WILL NEED\n7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or a similar role, or equivalent practical experience, with hands-on depth in AWS\n\nStrong Linux systems administration\n\nScripting proficiency in Python and/or Bash\n\nInfrastructure as Code experience with Terraform\n\nConfiguration management experience with Ansible or Puppet\n\nContainerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes\n\nWorking knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Transit Gateways, and IPsec tunnels\n\nCI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD\n\nProficiency with Git for version control and collaboration\n\nStrong analytical skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex systems\n\nPREFERRED SKILLS\nHands-on experience with Azure or GCP\n\nExperience supporting AI/ML workflows in AWS\n\nA DevSecOps background or experience in a security-focused or regulated environment\n\nExperience with observability tooling (for example, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog)\n\nExperience keeping high-availability production SaaS platforms running\n\nBenefits & Perks:\nFull Health, Dental, & Vision Coverage, with 100% employee premiums covered and 90% dependent premiums covered on base plans\n\n401(k), HSA, & FSA Plans\n\nFlexible PTO\n\nMeaningful equity ownership\n\nCompany Holidays & Paid Sick Days\n\nMonthly home-office stipend for internet, equipment, or other technology needs\n\niCOUNTER is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
