The Senior Application Programmer develops and maintains database designs/objects.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nElicit, analyze, document, and implement requirements gathered from the change request system for supply chain and manufacturing systems.\nBuild unit and integration tests for the applications and services.\nBuild highly available and easily maintainable applications for manufacturing plants.\nDevelop and manage integration with other systems across the organization.\nKnowledge of build processes using Ant or equivalent tools.\nExperience with Jenkins is preferred.\nExperience with Unix scripting is preferred.\nDemonstrate strong collaboration skills, including knowledge sharing, cross-training, and supporting team members as needed. \nWork with business users to understand and translate user requirements into forms and functions.\nDevelop documentation as necessary for analysis, design, implementation, and support.\nParticipate in stand-up meetings and report status to team members and management.\nDetermine and communicate work estimates and status as needed.\nParticipate in 24/7 department on-call support rotation.\nWork on special assignments as they arise.\nKnowledge & Skills\nStrong knowledge of Oracle Database and/or Oracle EBS.\nExperience working in an Agile development environment. \nExperience with Java, J2ee, Spring Boot, and AngularJS.\nUnderstanding of Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.\nStrong experience designing and developing Oracle Database objects including Tables, View, Queries, and Stored Procedures.\nWorking knowledge of Oracle Stored Procedures, SQL, and PL/SQL.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAble to work effectively in a team environment.\nAble to work quickly and effectively under pressure and to efficiently handle multiple priorities simultaneously.\nMinimum Qualifications, Education & Experience\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related IT field required.\nMinimum 10 years of experience developing applications using Java/J2ee technologies, or closely related occupation.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming.\nBasic understanding of information security principles and best practices.\nBasic understanding of User Roles/Responsibilities within enterprise applications, including the ability to support User Access Review system/process implementation.\nExperience working with different divisions across the organization to support testing/integration efforts.\nExperience working for a mid-sized to large organization;
