Working alongside the Facilities Manager, you will play an important role in keeping our school buildings and grounds safe, secure, well maintained and welcoming for students, staff and visitors.\nThis is a practical, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. If you enjoy solving problems, take pride in your work and are happy to get stuck in, we would love to hear from you. The role involves shift working, including early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends.\nThe role - you will:\nOpen and close the school and ensure the site is secure\nCarry out general caretaking, portering and basic maintenance\nUse your practical and DIY skills to keep the site in good working order\nSet up rooms, furniture and equipment for lessons and events\nSupport school events and lettings\nHelp maintain a clean, safe and welcoming school environment\nWe are looking for someone who is dependable, practical and willing to use their initiative.
