This is your chance to be part of our story.\nThe role:\nWe are recruiting for one apprenticeship position, which will be appointed as either an HR Generalist Apprentice or an HR Information & Data Apprentice, depending on the successful candidate's skills, interests and strengths.\nWhichever pathway you follow, you will gain hands-on experience within a supportive HR team whilst developing the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career.\nPlease indicate in your supporting statement which apprenticeship pathway you would prefer to follow.\nYour role could involve:\nSupporting recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.\nProviding administrative support across a range of HR activities.\nAssisting with workforce reporting, data management and system administration.\nSupporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintaining accurate and confidential employee records.\nProviding excellent customer service to managers, employees and external stakeholders.\nWorking collaboratively across HR, Payroll and other Council services.\nWhat we are looking for:\nWe are seeking enthusiastic individuals who:\nHave GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.\nHave good communication and organisational skills.\nAre confident using Microsoft Office applications.\nHave excellent attention to detail and can work accurately.\nAre keen to learn, develop and work towards a professional qualification.\nCan handle confidential information responsibly and professionally.\nNo previous HR experience is required.
