ID.me is a full-time, in-office culture. Unless a specific job description explicitly states otherwise, all roles are on-site five days per week at one of our offices in McLean, VA; Mountain View, CA; New York City, NY; or Tampa, FL. Director, Total Rewards

ID.me is looking for a Director, Total Rewards to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our compensation and benefits programs. In this role, you'll shape how we pay and reward talent across the company, ensuring our programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our growth as a business.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of company-wide compensation programs, including base pay, bonus, and equity structures
• Prepare job evaluations, salary surveys, and job architecture to keep leveling and pay structures current
• Establish and maintain salary structures and salary budgets in partnership with Finance and People leadership
• Partner with line management to assess competitive labor market trends and inform pay decisions
• Maintain working knowledge of federal and state compensation legislation to ensure compliance
• Own incentive, stock option, and bonus plan design and administration
• Partner on performance management systems and HRIS/UKG compensation workflows
• Select, develop, and manage a high-performing Total Rewards team

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience leading compensation or total rewards functions, ideally at a Director level or above
• Deep knowledge of compensation philosophy, market benchmarking, and job architecture design
• Experience managing bonus, incentive, and equity program design and administration
• Familiarity with compensation-related federal and state regulations
• Strong partnership skills - this role works closely with Finance, People leadership, and business leaders
• People management experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms
• Background in high-growth or public-company compensation environments
