requirements into working integrations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild high-quality services and integrations in C# and .NET that connect to IoT devices, sensors, and third-party systems\nImplement communication with target systems using protocols and interfaces such as MQTT, REST APIs, webhooks, and TCP or serial connections\nBuild resilient integrations with proper error handling, reconnection, retries, idempotency, and rate limiting\nMap device and vendor data into consistent models the platform and its applications can use\nRead and evaluate vendor API and device documentation, and work directly with vendor technical teams to resolve gaps\nTest integrations against real devices, simulators, and vendor sandboxes before they reach a live building\nWork closely with backend and app engineers on the data each integration exposes and how failures surface\nLeverage AI tools to improve engineering efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed\nImplement CI/CD workflows and deploy services to cloud environments\nAdd logging, health checks, monitoring, and alerting so issues are found before users report them\nReview code, follow best practices, and maintain high engineering standards\nCommunicate clearly with team members, stakeholders, and external teams throughout delivery\nContribute to technical decisions across integration design, implementation approach, and delivery planning\nWhat We’re Looking For\n3+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on C# and .NET experience\nStrong expertise in modern .NET, including async programming, dependency injection, and background services\nExperience building and running production-grade services or integrations\nExperience integrating with third-party REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication schemes such as OAuth 2.0 and API keys\nGood understanding of networking, HTTP, and message-based communication, including MQTT or similar brokers\nGood understanding of event-driven architecture, failure handling, and long-running connections\nGood understanding of data modelling and SQL databases\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud or on-premise deployment\nStrong experience using AI tools to accelerate development and improve workflows\nAbility to learn unfamiliar platforms, devices, and third-party APIs quickly from documentation and deliver with little supervision\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work closely with engineers, product teams, external teams, and stakeholders\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, startup-style environment\nStrong ownership, problem-solving, and decision-making mindset\nNice to Have\nExperience with IoT, smart building, building automation, or access control systems\nExposure to device and
