Every project we take on is driven by the shared goal of creating lasting impact for our customers and their businesses.\nRole Summary\nWe are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Technical Project Manager to lead the execution of technology projects across government and commercial customers. This role serves as a primary point of contact for project execution and works directly with customers, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into successfully delivered solutions.\nThis is a hands-on delivery role intended for a Project Manager who can operate beyond traditional project administration. The successful candidate will be comfortable working as part of an integrated delivery team, engaging directly with customers, understanding technical and functional requirements, and using AI-enabled tools to improve project execution, analysis, communication, and delivery.\nThe position is based in Herndon, Virginia, operates on a hybrid schedule, and may require travel to customer locations.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nLead multiple concurrent technical projects and workstreams from requirements through implementation, deployment, and customer acceptance.\nServe as a primary customer-facing point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project execution remains aligned with customer expectations and business outcomes.\nReview and analyze business processes, document requirements, define scope and objectives, and translate customer needs into actionable work for technical teams.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, schedules, dependencies, risks, deliverables, and completion criteria.\nCoordinate closely with software developers, technical leads, business stakeholders, and customers as part of an integrated delivery team.\nMonitor project health and performance, resolve issues, manage risks, and provide clear, actionable status reporting to leadership and customer stakeholders.\nFacilitate requirements discussions, solution reviews, demonstrations, and other customer sessions needed to move projects from concept through deployment.\nApply quality-control practices throughout project delivery to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements, standards, and customer expectations.\nUse AI-enabled tools effectively to support requirements analysis, planning, documentation, communication, problem-solving, and project execution.\nIdentify opportunities to improve project processes, delivery speed, quality, and customer outcomes through automation and AI-enabled approaches.\nPerform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analysis of current processes using operational metrics and reports. \nManage competing priorities and multiple projects while maintaining accountability for commitments, deadlines, and follow-through.\nSupport customer deployment, adoption, transition, and related implementation activities as required.\nOther ad-hoc tasks based on business needs.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.\nFour to seven (4-7) years of experience in technical project management, technology delivery, implementation, or a closely related role.\nAir Force, ACC, aircraft maintenance, maintenance operations, or related mission-domain experience strongly preferred.\nDemonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects, workstreams, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.\nActive Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) \nActive CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.\nPrior experience supporting Department of War or Government customers. \nDemonstrated ability to use modern AI tools in professional work, with sufficient AI literacy to incorporate AI into project execution without requiring foundational AI training.\nWorking knowledge of enterprise technology environments, including Microsoft applications, Azure/DevOps, cloud-based solutions, and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS concepts.\nStrong customer-facing, facilitation, written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to build consensus among technical and nontechnical stakeholders.\nStrong interpersonal and facilitation skills; ability to forge consensus among competing constituents on critical and time sensitive issues. \nAbility to organize, lead teams, work independently or as member of a team. \nStrong organizational skills with keen sense of attention to detail. \nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of iterative software and development methodologies such as Microsoft Solutions Framework. \nPrior work experience or knowledge in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS projects. \nCore Values Alignment\nWe are looking for someone who aligns with our core values and who:\nActs with Customer First mindset - empathizing and building trust through service. \nTakes initiative and Gets Stuff Done without waiting for direction. \nDemonstrates a Strive for Excellence approach in quality and delivery. \nIs a Growth-Through-Learning thinker, always seeking to improve. \nCommunicates as a Team-First Communicator, fostering clarity and collaboration.\nBenefits\nWhy Join Us\nCompetitive Pay and Health Care Plans incl.
