We're looking for aLead Platform Engineer to provide technical leadership for our EHS platform engineering team, delivering the infrastructure, automation, and cloud capabilities that enable our products to scale securely and reliably.As a hands-on technical leader, you'll drive the technical direction and delivery of Platform Engineering for the EHS product pillar. You'll help shape the cloud platforms, infrastructure standards, and engineering practices that support multiple product teams, while mentoring engineers and championing AI-assisted engineering practices.\nResponsibilities\nDefine and drive platform engineering strategy across the EHS product portfolio.\nDesign, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, and Go.\nLead technical decisions across cloud architecture, automation, observability, security, resilience, and platform operations.\nPartner with EHS Engineering leaders to understand product needs and deliver scalable platform solutions.\nChampion Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, CI/CD, and automation-first practices.\nCoach and mentor platform engineers, helping them develop technical expertise and AI-assisted engineering capabilities.\nOwn delivery commitments, manage risks, and contribute to technical design reviews and roadmap planning.\nEnsure platform services are secure, reliable, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.\nSkills and Experience\nStrong experience in platform, cloud, or infrastructure engineering.\nDeep expertise with AWS, Terraform, containers, and Kubernetes.\nExperience building and operating highly available, cloud-native platforms at scale.\nStrong understanding of security, networking, observability, disaster recovery, and automation.\nProven ability to lead technical direction while remaining hands-on.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.\nAbout Ideagen\nIdeagen is the invisible force behind many things we rely on every day - from keeping airplanes soaring in the sky, to ensuring the food on our tables is safe, to helping doctors and nurses care for the sick.
