Every IDEAL product comes with the promise made by our founder more than 90 years ago.\nResponsibilities:\nFollow all safety procedures.\nPerform routine production tasks under the close direction of the Supervisor and/or lead person, including but not limited to forming, assembling and packaging of our products; the set-up and operation of various work stations.\nMay require use of various tools and equipment including, but not limited to hand tools, soldering equipment, assembly and test equipment, hand trucks.\nWhere necessary, monitor work visually and dimensionally referring to blueprints, engineering specifications, and job instruction sheets. Maintain quality and rate charts as required.\nFollow all quality procedures and instructions.\nMaintain housekeeping in the work area.\nOther related duties as directed by management. \nRegular, predictable attendance is essential to teamwork, timely information exchange, and meeting productivity requirements. \nSkills/Competencies Required:\nMust be able to follow directions, both verbal and written, including simple assembly instructions and diagrams.\nVisual acuity and hand dexterity to package and assemble a variety of materials is required.\nFor selected tasks, color and depth perception may be required.\nAbility to perform routine computer data entry and queries is required.\nAble to work effectively in a team environment. \nRequires the ability to read and follow job instructions, complete written forms, and effectively communicate with others. \nEducation/Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED. \nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 10 lbs., for 9-10 hours per day and, on occasion, lift up to 40 lbs. This capability will either be determined from a physical exam, or verifiable past performance.\nWork Environment:\nHot/cold temperatures based on seasonal variations\nMay be humidity, noise, odors, dust\nSafety precautions are a must to minimize potential exposure to mechanical hazards. \nThe home department in this job posting is subject to change. \nCompensation Disclosure:\nThe rate of pay for this position is $22.50/hour, plus a 3rd shift differential of 9%.
