A significant portion of the day is spent handling and prioritizing support requests, with the remaining time dedicated to projects, system maintenance, and documentation..\nTasks:\nInstall, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware, operating systems, and software.\nDiagnose and resolve end-user issues (software errors, hardware failures, network problems).\nTroubleshoot printing issues (drivers, queues, printer connectivity).\nReset or unlock user accounts and passwords.\nSet up new desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.\nEnsure systems have updated antivirus/antimalware protection.\nApply patches and updates to operating systems and applications.\nInstall, configure, and troubleshoot standard business applications (Office, browsers, collaboration tools).\nPush software updates via MECM, PowerShell or other management tools.\nLicense tracking and compliance.\nRespond to tickets, phone calls, chat requests, and walk-ups.\nEscalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams.\nDocument troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.\nRequirements:\nEducation: Bachelor ’ s Degree in computer science, information science, engineering, business, or related scientific or technical discipline or equivalent in accordance with Education/Experience. (Desired not required)\nEducation Substitution: Two (2) years’ experience may be substituted for an associate’s degree.\nExperience: Four (4) Years.\nMust be a US Citizen. \nMust be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.\nMust have at least four (4) years of relevant experience working in an IT or Service Desk environment.\nMust meet DoDM 8140.03 (formerly DoD 8570 IAT-II) compliance (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Server+).\nExperience providing IT support services and troubleshooting across mixed environments, servers, mobile devices, A/V equipment, and Active Directory.\nExtensive working knowledge of Operating System delivery methods (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), etc.) and troubleshooting command specific applications.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. \n**** Certifications IAT Level II. (Security+ CE) ****\nSecurity clearance/IT access requirement - Secret/IT level - II.\nInvestigation requirement - Tier 3 (T3) (equivalent or higher).\nComputing Environment (CE) Certifications to be determined by government upon final job assignment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office products.\nExperience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.\nAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Accurate and precise attention to detail. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nExcellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills. \nGood interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.\nDesired Qualifications:\nMicrosoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent.\nPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift and move desktop equipment.\nShift & Work Schedule:\nShift work required.\nThe Contract has the flexibility to allow employees to work either 8 hours for 5 days and/or 10 hours for 4 days, along with weekend and night coverage, at the Program Manager’s discretion.\nNote differential is not provided.\nClearance: US Interim Secret/US Secret clearance
