You will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, aiming to streamline testing processes, reduce defects, and accelerate software releases.\nTasks:\nParticipate in program Agile software development initiatives (standup, planning, increment planning) to support innovation and enhancement of custom applications through iteration/functionality testing within a commercial cloud environment.\nParticipate and collaborate with team members to assess StoryPoint/complexity efforts (using best practices) to ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality per User Story Acceptance Criteria.\nCollaborate with team members (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Software Developers) to develop test approaches with emphasis on automation of recurring/regression test cases through selected toolsets.\nDevelop automated test cases using knowledge of custom Applications through designated GUI/COTS products (ex: Selenium and Katalon Studio).\nLeverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and Configuration Management of test cases/scripts are maintained and continuously improved.\nDevelop and document end-to-end functionality test case narratives using task management system (JIRA/Confluence) and support performance testing/evaluation activities using tools such as Jmeter.\nRequired Qualifications:\n To be considered, must have an active TS/SCI with at least a CI-poly.\nEducation: BS degree with 4 or more years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 2 or more years of prior relevant experience. Will consider experience in lieu of a degree.\nExperience in software quality assurance with a significant focus on automation testing.\nExperience with creation, authoring, execution and documentation of test cases/result sets for software products in an agile cadence.\nHands-on experience in designing and implementing robust automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Katalon Studio.\nStrong programming skills in languages such as Java or Python, enabling the ability to write efficient and scalable test scripts.\nExperience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub) and their integration with automated tests.\nDirect experience with software performance testing practices.\nExperience working/testing within Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex: AWS) and DevOps tools, and working in a SAFe Agile and DevOps development environment.\nDemonstrated ability to work within a collaborative environment to execute test cases complementary to development efforts.\nDesired Qualifications:\nHands-on experience with Katalon Studio and Katalon Runtime Engine\nDirect experience with AWS environments\n\nPosition Type Shift Information:\nMon-Fri, 40 hr work week\nCitizenship
