Sales Engineer

Ideatect Concept is seeking a motivated and organized Sales Engineer / Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in driving & maximize sales and supporting the delivery of upcoming & ongoing projects for our growing company. 

 Key responsibilities 

• Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the construction, renovation and interior design industry, including contacting customers assigned by the Marketing Team.
• Engage with potential clients to understand their renovation and interior design needs and requirements within Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Melaka. Conduct site visits at customers' premises.
• Provide professional and technical information on the company's renovation and interior design services, products and solutions according to customers' requirements.
• Ensure detailed quotations are prepared accurately and submitted to the appropriate customers within the required timeframe. Respond promptly to customer enquiries.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms and follow through the sales process until successful closing, while maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Liaise closely with designers and provide the necessary customer and site information for the preparation of design plans, technical drawings and 3D drawings.
• Assist the Sales Manager in building and managing an effective sales force and distribution network to support business growth, increase sales and achieve the company's sales targets.
• Coordinate and follow up with relevant departments to ensure projects are carried out successfully and in accordance with the agreed contract and specifications before final handover to the customer.
• Follow up and monitor customer payment status and coordinate with the relevant department on outstanding payments throughout the project.

Requirements

1. Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role within the construction industry
2. Strong understanding of construction materials, processes and industry trends
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients
4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service
5. Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical field
