Learn more here.\nResponsibilities\nThe Purchasing Intern supports the Purchasing team in day-to-day sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing activities. This role provides hands-on experience in procurement processes, supplier communications, cost analysis, and strategic sourcing initiatives. The intern will work closely with purchasing professionals to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while gaining exposure to supply chain and procurement best practices.\nThis position will focus on Indirect Purchasing categories within the North America Purchasing Team. Indirect purchasing includes the goods and services that support business operations but do not become part of the company's products. The intern will have the opportunity to work directly with buyers and business stakeholders while gaining exposure to strategic sourcing, category management, procurement operations, and supplier relationship management.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport indirect purchasing and category management activities across North America.\nAssist with strategic sourcing projects, supplier evaluations, and procurement initiatives.\nWork directly with buyers and internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and business needs.\nSupport supplier communications and help maintain positive supplier relationships.\nAssist with cost analysis, spend analysis, and sourcing recommendations.\nHelp gather, organize, and analyze procurement data to support purchasing decisions.\nSupport purchase order and supplier onboarding activities as needed.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs.\nCollaborate closely with team members on projects and day-to-day purchasing activities\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.\nStrong interest in purchasing, procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.\nWillingness to learn, take initiative, and embrace new challenges.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nCuriosity and an interest in understanding business processes and stakeholder needs.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCoursework in supply chain management, procurement, sourcing, or business operations.\nPrevious internship, co-op, or other professional experience.\nExposure to purchasing, procurement, supplier management, or supply chain concepts.\nExperience analyzing data and presenting findings.\nFamiliarity with spend analysis or cost-management concep\nImportant Dates:\nStart
