Wage adjustments every 90 days, and all benefits begin effective after 60 days.\nFirst Shift: 6:45 am - 2:45 pm\nSecond Shift: 2:45 pm - 10:45 pm\nThird Shift: 10:45 pm - 6:45 am\nPRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSet up and operate any/all of the following: Manual Lathe, Manual Mill, NC Lathe, NC Mill, Machine Cells, Fork Truck, Stand Up Truck, hand tools, or other miscellaneous equipment required by the manufacturing process.\nExecute operational details from drawings, routing sheets, set up sheets, CNC programs, and standard work instructions.\nCheck the condition of tooling/performance for best results.\nFollow the documented safety guidelines and procedures.\nAdhere to quality expectations.\nMust be able to work mandatory overtime as needed.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\nAssociate Degree or CNC machining (metal products) technical certificate preferred.\nMinimum 2 years in industrial manufacturing environment required.\nOTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to use gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.\nAbility to read blueprints.\nProperly align, secure and remove part fixtures, attachments and materials onto machines.\nCheck machined parts to print with designated measuring devices such as micrometers, CMM, manual/digital calipers, plug gauges, indicators, or equivalent tools.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:\nStand for extended periods of time up to 10 hours per day.\nAbility to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 70 pounds on a periodic basis.\nAbility to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard.\nAbility to communicate by speech and hearing via phone and in person.\nVisual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.\nGeneral manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.\nExposed to any number of elements, but none continuously present to the extent of being disagreeable.\nCertain positions with IDEX Corporation and its business units require access to controlled goods and technologies subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or the Export Administration Regulations.
