This position is responsible for talent acquisition, onboarding, employee and labor relations, payroll, benefits, leave administration, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, training, and HR operations. The HR Manager partners with leaders and employees across all departments to support business objectives, strengthen organizational culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.\nEssential Functions\nResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:\nLead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.\n\nPartner with leaders to address employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness matters.\n\nConduct workplace investigations and manage corrective action processes.\n\nAdminister payroll processes and resolve payroll-related issues.\n\nManage employee benefits programs, open enrollment activities, and employee inquiries.\n\nAdminister leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes.\n\nLead performance management, talent review, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.\n\nCoordinate employee engagement activities and develop action plans to improve workplace culture.\n\nMaintain HRIS data integrity and employee records.\n\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.\n\nPrepare and analyze HR metrics, reports, and workforce trends to support business decisions.\n\nPartner with EHS and operational leaders on safety, workers' compensation, and employee well-being initiatives.\n\nRecommend and implement HR process improvements that support operational excellence.\n\nMaintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.\n\n5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\n\nExperience supporting recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, leave management, and HR compliance.\n\nExperience conducting workplace investigations and managing employee relations matters.\n\nProficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\n\nPreferred\nPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.\n\nExperience supporting multiple locations.\n\nExperience with compensation planning, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.\n\nCOMPETENCIES\nCommunication Skills\n\nRelationship Building\n\nDecision Making\n\nProblem Solving\n\nIntegrity & Ethical Conduct\n\nContinuous Improvement Mindset\n\nPhysical Environment and Environmental Factors\nOffice Environment\nThis position is fully onsite, with a requirement to work from the Punta Gorda office five (5) days per week.\n\nThis position operatesin a manufacturing office setting and involves regular use of standard office equipment. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing computer-basedtasks. The employee will occasionally move about the office or nearby production areas to access equipment, attend meetings, or communicate with team members.
